Past Community Events and Social Activities at Crystal Waters
Here are links to past social events and community projects which will give some idea of the kinds of things we do in our community; there are many photos for you to see: The annual Christmas party brings together residents and visitors in Crystal Waters with the local rural community in the Upper Mary Valley. 15th Birthday 13th Birthday Breakfast Celebration 12th Birthday Breakfast Celebration Crystal Waters now has a wood fired oven bakery producing yummy bread and pizzas in the Co-op Village Centre. In addition, several cob ovens have been built at locations around Crystal Waters. The breads are sold locally at markets, and within our community. Check out some pics here: The Crystal Waters Community Co-op kitchen building has been expanded by the addition of a new deck and a planned roof area will significantly improve the dining space and performance area of our popular venue. Check out some photos of the construction work and personalities on site here: The Third Australian Intentional Communities Conference was held at Crystal Waters Permaculture Village in November 2000. We explored community aliveness in many ways - culturally, ecologically and economically. The Conference brought together many community members from around Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere to share experiences and find new ways forward. See the conference webpages here: |
